1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OpenClaw as a Service ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
OpenClaw as a Service provides managed, hardware-isolated hosting for OpenClaw, an open-source AI coding assistant. Each user receives a dedicated instance accessible through a web-based interface including chat, file browsing, and remote desktop.
3. Account and Authentication
You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- The Service is offered through monthly subscription plans with different hardware tiers.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' instances or data
- Use the Service to distribute malware, conduct attacks, or abuse compute resources
- Use the Service for spam, phishing, bulk unsolicited messaging, or other network abuse
- Share your account credentials with third parties
- Circumvent usage limits or security measures
- Use the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
We may suspend access without prior notice when abuse is detected or reasonably suspected.
We may cooperate with law enforcement or competent authorities when presented with a valid legal request.
6. Hosting Provider Role
OpenClaw as a Service provides infrastructure hosting for user-managed OpenClaw instances. We are not a publisher of user-generated content created or transmitted within those instances.
You are solely responsible for your content, prompts, outputs, files, and actions performed through your instance.
Third-party integrations and external services are provided by their respective providers. We do not guarantee the safety, availability, or behavior of those third-party systems.
7. Abuse Reporting
Abuse, security incidents, or illegal content can be reported to florian.standhartinger@gmail.com. Please include the affected instance URL and a brief description of the issue.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all data and content you create within your OpenClaw instance. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, remains our intellectual property.
9. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data before deletion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The courts of Passau, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.
